After setting up an appointment and arriving for your first visit, you'll enjoy meeting our friendly staff. you will be asked to complete a simple Patient Information and Health History Form (click here to go directly to form you can complete, print out, and bring with you to your appointment.) After completing the health history paperwork, you'll meet Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson will then complete a consultation with you, reviewing your information, and asking you some very important questions to determine if your problem is likely to be helped with chiropractic care. You will then undergo an orthopedic neurological exam to determine the exact nature of your problem. He will also take any x-rays that he finds necessary. An appointment will be scheduled for the following day for a Report of Findings to allow Dr. Johnson time to properly evaluate your exam findings and x-rays to determine the best course of treatment for you.
On your second visit, Dr. Johnson will present a Report of Findings to you. You will be encouraged to ask any questions that you have. He will then adjust the spine with gentle, manual manipulation to return misaligned spinal vertebrae back to their normal position. This will relieve nerve root pressure. Dr. Johnson will not only concentrate on the spine, making sure that the vertebrae are properly aligned, but also concentrate on physical therapy and rehabilitation exercises to restore your health. Our techniques and treatment protocols are fueled by the premise that nature is infinitely wise; therefore we apply safe, scientifically-based physical medicine to assist and enhance the body’s natural capabilities.
